On April 7, at 14:30, the Media Center organized an online discussion "The NSS proposes to change the law on state and official secrecy. For what purpose?

Speakers:
- Arthur Sakunts, Head of the Helsinki Citizens' Assembly Vanadzor Office
- Shushan Doydoyan, Head of the Freedom of Information Center
- Hayk Martirosyan - Legal Expert of Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center

An invitation was also sent to the National Security Service.
The National Security Service has submitted for public discussion the draft law on state-secret service, which proposes to amend and update the law in force since 1996.

Citizens have until April 7 to submit proposals on the published draft, after which it will either be sent to the parliament or will be sent back for revision.

The draft law "On Higher Education and Science" and related draft laws were put on the public discussion platform on December 3, 2019. Discussions on them are still going on. On December 3, 2020, the government included the Draft in the agenda of the sitting as an urgent, unreportable issue, adopted it without discussion, then sent it to the parliament.
