“Armenian-Turkish Relations in the Context of Regional Developments”

The Armenian-Turkish protocols signed in Zurich 8 years ago had a crucial role both in the relations between the two countries and in the foreign policy of Armenia. Armenian-Turkish relations are now observed before and after the Zurich Protocols. These protocols, criticized much strongly, are on the brink of being declared null and void after being frozen for nearly a decade. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated at the session of the UN General Assemblyon September 20, “We will enter the spring of 2018 without those, as our experience has demonstrated, futile Protocols.”
