Media Center, Yerevan, in 2017-2018 Positive People Armenian Network NGO conducted a research in Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Hrazdan, Sevan, Gavar, Martuni and in Armavir aimed at early disclosure of virus hepatitis B and C among population and raising awareness.

The discussion was attended by Lilit Makunts, RA minister of culture, Violet Grigoryan, poet, Misak Khostikyan, architect, Arayik Manukyan, editor-in-chief of “Hayer” all-Armenian media platform and Samvel Saghatelyan, painter.
For 2008 March 1-2 events in Yerevan the head of the investigative group instigated criminal proceedings on July 3, 2018 according to RA criminal code article 300.1 paragraph 1 against RA executive officials – minister of defense and others for executing violence and thus demolishing the RA constitutional order from February to 23 March 2, 2008.
Under the previous government torture cases were never disclosed, no effective investigation was carried out, but following the velvet revolution some torture cases were accepted for proceedings: this was the view expressed by human rights advocates at June 26 discussion at Media Center dedicated to torture victims support international day.
According to a Facebook survey conducted by Public Journalism Club NGO 47% of participants finds the engagement of women in the new government as insufficient and 53% as sufficient or more than sufficient.
Recommendations on improving the agricultural field addressed to the government were the topic of discussion at May 30 Media Center meeting with Robert Makaryan, deputy minister of agriculture, Hrachya Zakoyan, representative of Agricultural Alliance of Armenia and Karen Chilingaryan, president of Consumers’ Consulting Center NGO.
A number of civil society organizations expressed willingness to support the newly formed government. “We are ready to support the newly formed government to overcome the prevailing problems meanwhile we will remain loyal to the main principles and agenda of our activity”.
