Misinformation, fact-checking and media campaigns during the conflict

On October 16, at 14:00, the Media Center conducted an online webinar on the topic of "Misinformation, fact-checking and media campaigns during the conflict."

The speakers were:
- Lusine Grigoryan, Center for Media Initiatives, Media Literacy Specialist,
- Alexander Martirosyan, Public Journalism Club, communication and media specialist.

During the webinar, the misinformation spread under the information flows was presented, its goals depending on the current war in Artsakh, the escalation of the conflict, the current state of martial law.

By participating in the webinar, social media users learned some simple and easy fact-checking tools, including where to get information and how to analyze it.

During the webinar, they also talked about the media campaigns due to the war situation, which are running in parallel on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram and other networks.
