Media literacy and information security during conflict

On October 14, at 15:00, the Media Center conducted an online webinar on "Media Literacy and Information Security in Conflict".

The speakers were:
- Harutyun Tsatryan, fact-checking expert and media researcher
- Alexander Martirosyan, communication expert, media specialist

 

During the webinar, the participants were introduced to the importance and peculiarities of media literacy and the ongoing war in Artsakh and the escalation of the conflict.

 

How does the media change in a state of martial law, what are the priorities and new rules of the game? During the webinar, a number of issues of information security were presented in the media field, on social platforms, the specialists addressed their advice to the users, answered the questions.

 

During the webinar, they also touched upon the coverage of conflicts and the need to ensure physical security during the coverage.
