The Law Development and Protection Foundation conducted a study in the field of freedom of information, highlighting the existing legislative and practical issues in the field.
In addition to the RA Law on Freedom of Information, the experts of the program studied the related areas - legal acts, in which the issue of access to information plays a key role. This is especially true in the areas of state and official secrecy, operative-intelligence activities, archives, criminal proceedings, personal data protection, procurement, and public service.
During the discussion, the speakers will present the results of the study, the identified problems by topics, international standards, best international experience, the proposed solutions based on the analysis.
