Coordinator Derenik Malkhasyan

While speaking about the possible effect of snap elections on domestic developments Hakob Badalyan expressed view that in a politically new situation the picture of the correlation of forces will be clear given that this is the first unprecedented opportunity to get the closest-to-the-reality picture.

“It is clear that we have not reached classical competition phase yet. We will get there  when parliamentary elections take place with this being an intermediate political process. Objectively when state authority is not institutionally shaped yet in the country it is clear that the formation of municipal authority is going to be subject to that process”, Badalyan emphasizes.

Edgar Vardanyan notes that the public supporting the current authorities is a serious index.

“The majority is what is going to make up political victory when “My Step” alliance will get majority of votes and without any obstacles will become municipal authority. Objectively the leader of that political force is the prime minister and the revolution leader was Nikol Pashinyan. If the index is recorded to be higher than 60% naturally that will testify to My Step alliance’s serious potential.”
